Calgary’s inner-city tavern now has an impressive home-style backyard patio

To be perfectly honest, we weren’t entirely sure that Calgary’s Civic Tavern could get any cooler, but here we are! Not only does the city staple have one of the most recognizable locations in YYC, but it now also has an eerily familiar-looking patio – here’s what you can expect this summer when attending their brand new home-style spot.

Whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or drinks, Civic’s familiar setup will be one of the most comfortable places to grab a beer this summer!

Laid out on astroturf (covered in what looks like it was definitely your mom’s picnic table cloth), these folks are after our hearts and we cannot wait to check them out for ourselves.

Now, is it the fanciest patio in the city? Heck no, but it’s reminiscent of ‘kiss the cook’ aprons, sprinklers, and sticky watermelon hands. Ya’ know – super cute childhood things!
