Calgary’s beloved 4th Street Lilac Festival to return this spring

Food, live music local vendors and sun! After two consecutive cancellations due to the pandemic, the Calgary Lilac Festival has announced that it will return this spring!

Known and beloved by many, this one-day free-to-attend event has occupied 4th street almost every June for 33 years and in 2022 they’ll be back and better than ever.

“As of right now, we can’t release any finalized details about the festival, but we promise we have some exciting plans set for #LilacFestival2022!” They said in an Instagram post.

From artists to foodies the festival has begun excepting applications from musicians to artisans and will continue to do so until they’re full up.

If you’d like to occupy one of the many tents that will be placed between 13th Avenue and Elbow Drive in the SW, you can register through their website now!

“We are looking for a diverse group of vendors to mix things up and join us,” they wrote.

This year’s festival will take place between 10 am and 6 pm on June 5th, with more information expected in the coming weeks.

Get ready and stay ready, Calgary! It’s going to be a busy spring!
