It’s the most wonderful time of the year! December 25th is just around the corner and almost everyone from coast to coast has begun dreaming of frozen flakes and fluffy front yards but will Calgary be among the lucky ones?

This week, The Weather Network released their 2022 Christmas weather forecast and to our delight, things are looking good – not just for Calgary, but for most of Canada!

“The forecast for regions across Canada that will see a white Christmas becomes slightly clearer with each passing day,” they wrote.

“Our snow scale runs from a zero to 100 percent chance, and out of 23 Canadian locations, 18 of them are of high chance or guaranteed.”

On their list? Calgary – who they say is definitely in for a white Christmas this year! In fact, those in the Prairies have the “highest odds in the country” this time around.

Now, with a high of -2°C (will feel like -7°C) and a mix of sun and clouds – they’re not calling for powder ON the big day, but it will still look festive despite it being warm enough to enjoy a light display, an afternoon skate or a walk around the block.

Of course, the Calgary Christmas weather forecast can change and likely will – so check back if you’ve got outdoor plans!

Until then, stay warm and enjoy! It’s going to be a good one, we can feel it!
