Alberta comes to life in the summertime and this summer aboard a Calgary Transit bus or train, those without a vehicle or the patience to drive downtown can experience everything our city has to offer – for less!

As announced in a press release, the City of Calgary will be offering heavily discounted monthly passes for August and September in hopes of getting more people out, about and exploring this sunny season.

“With so many opportunities in Calgary to participate in activities and events, transit is a great way to make your way around the community and beyond,” they wrote.

Adult Calgary Transit passes, which will temporarily cost $56 (50% less) can be purchased now in person or electronically using the ‘My Fare’ app.

There’s plenty to see and only so much time, so get out there and enjoy!
