With the 2022 Calgary Stampede hot on our heels, one thing has become crystal clear. This year, is without a doubt, going to be bigger and better than ever before.
From some of the wackiest foods that we’ve seen in years, to iconic musicians and action-packed tents, those gearing up to hit the grounds are in for quite the treat – and a stunning view if they’re feeling brave!
This year, before hitting up the food trucks or the many beer gardens, we’d recommend checking out the midway – where adrenaline junkies are encouraged to take a spin on The Superwheel – the largest ride of its kind in all of Canada, and possibly the second biggest on the continent.

This will be the only place in the country where you’ll be able to ride the giant in 2022 and you won’t want to miss it.
All-day wrist bands are available between now and July 4th for $39.99 +GST at participating Sobeys, Safeway, and IGA locations – so get yours now!
Of course, if you miss the boat, you’ll also be able to pick up individual coupons or an unlimited pass on the grounds without the discount throughout the Stampede.
