If you’ve already watched the latest episode of Disney’s Mandalorian, you may have recognized a friendly-Canadian face! Kim’s Convenience star, Paul Sun-Hyung Lee joined the iconic Star Wars universe series as rebel-pilot, Captain Carson Teva.

Sun-Hyung Lee, who was born in South Korea then raised in Calgary, Toronto, and London, Ontario before moving back to Toronto for University, has appeared in a ton of Canadian TV shows – one of which is kind of a northern rite of passage.

In addition to his current role on Netflix’s popular comedy, he’s also been featured on Degrassi: The Next Generation (because of course, he was) and Global’s Train 48.

Though he’s been incredibly successful, it’s pretty evident that Disney’s Mandalorian is the role of his lifetime.

Just by taking a quick scroll through his Instagram, you can tell that he’s a huge fan of George Lucas’s magical space franchise. From costumes, captions and subtle visual references Paul has been posting about Star Wars since… the begging of his feed, really.

So, congrats, Paul. You probably won’t see this, but we’re stoked for you – and can’t wait to finally watch the episode! The rest of you, no spoilers, please.
