Calgary’s restaurant scene is full of surprises, constantly opening places that we didn’t even know that we needed. From hotdog spots and after-hours dessert shops, there’s an eatery for every mood, season and craving – at least that’s what we thought. Turns out there was one thing the city was missing – but never fear, because the Meatball Project by the folks who brought us Little Tavern Pizza, is here.

Dedicated to tasty globes of beef and plant-based alternatives, quick-service joint, the Meatball Project has a pretty good lineup of sauces, crumbles and herbs that customers can choose from.

From Carolina honey mustard glaze to creamy lemon sauce and marinara, they’ve already got some pretty universally loved flavours on their menu and we hope there will be more to come!

Though they’re not open yet, we can’t imagine that any customer will leave hungry – because not only are there additional options to get your balls in a wrap instead, they’ve also got sides like hashbrowns and cheesy mac, as well as circular desserts!

Want to check it out? Luckily you won’t have to wait very long! According to their Instagram page, their grand opening is scheduled for this Thursday, October 7th at 11 am in Kensington.

Be there or be square, Calgary!
