Get moving with these 10 Calgary fitness studios

Confession: I hate the gym.

It’s not for lack of trying. I’ve gone to the gym on and off since I was a teenager, but this is a result of knowing I should maintain a baseline level of fitness rather than an urge to workout. I simply don’t have the skillset or discipline for self-guided workouts.

However, that doesn’t mean physical fitness is completely off the table. I’ve found that attending fitness classes is a way to ensure I’m getting the movement I need in a space that holds me accountable. Class settings ensure I’m committed to the entire workout, can’t skip exercises I don’t enjoy, and mean I have to show up for a specific time — lest I lose the money I shelled out.

If you’re like me and think you would thrive in class settings or with alternative means of movement, here are 10 Calgary fitness studios you should consider checking out.
