Calgary’s premier beerfest is back for another year of brews and buds

Attention, beer lovers: The ultimate Canadian tasting experience is back in Calgary on May 2 and 3 at the BMO Centre, and there are sweet festival packages available so you can make the most of those two days.

Calgary International Beerfest has been a YYC staple since 2005, and this year’s lineup is bigger and better than ever. Explore more than 700 craft beverages, epic eats from over 40 of Calgary’s hottest restaurants, and entertainment like sports lounges, live music, games, and activities.

It’s a festival, yes, but it’s also an epic hangout spot. The memories made at Beerfest are sure to last you and your friends a lifetime — or at least, until next year’s Beerfest.

And the fun doesn’t have to stop at last call. The Beerfest after-party keeps the good times rolling until 2 a.m. with fantastic headliners, such as Imanbek on Friday, Sam Feldt on Saturday, and Raise Your State and White Light on both nights.

Sure, you could pay the general admission for the session you’d like to go to, but if you’re serious about getting the most bang for your buck, there are packages that’ll turn a good experience into a great one.

The general admission package is $64.99 and includes a commemorative sample mug, $40 worth of sample tokens, and access to the after-party (which is $50 on its own). You don’t need to be a mathematician to know you’re saving some serious dough.

You can also kick things up a notch with the $79.99 VIP package. This option includes everything offered in the general admission package, along with early admission, exclusive VIP lounges, VIP private washrooms, a separate VIP entrance, and one free admission to each beverage seminar. Treat yourself like the connoisseur you are!

Beefest comes but once a year. You deserve to make the most of it. Save $45 with a Beerfest package, and start counting down until the event!
