Western Canada’s largest outdoor amusement park is in Alberta & here’s when it opens for the season

Ready to get outside and into everything this sunny season has to offer? Spring has sprung and it won’t be long until we can ride waves, good vibes and the roller coaster at Calaway Park!

Located just outside of Calgary, this fun-loving destination is Western Canada’s largest outdoor amusement park and has been responsible for a ton of childhood memories.

However, Calaway is not just for kids!

Starting May 18th, 2024, folks of all ages will be encouraged to explore, play games and eat all the carnival food their stomach can handle.

While we wouldn’t recommend sinking your teeth into anything fried before climbing aboard the Ocean Motion, the midway really is your oyster.

General admission is $51.95 or $35.95 after 2 pm and the park will only be open on weekends until June 27th, but check it out.
