These unbelievably dreamy tiny cabins in Ontario are perfect for fall getaways

Craving a last-minute escape from the city? Want to check out cozy tiny cabins in the province? Look no further. Cabinscape, a network of gorgeous off-grid cabins around Ontario, has several rentals available this November and it’s the perfect setting to unplug and bond with nature.

Cabinscape’s tiny cabins are located on beautiful, rugged properties overlooking lakes, forests, creeks, and trails around the province. The cabins are so popular that many of them are practically booked solid several months in advance. But, every so often, there are a few cabins with last-minute availability. If you’re looking beyond the ones below, you can also look into cabins by their ‘remoteness level.’

Right now, there are several cabins you can book for a quick getaway this month — Starling Cabin, Wren, Cabin, Woodrush Cabin, Bone Cabin, and Quasi Cabin. Each one has its own unique design features and amenities. The cabins sleep anywhere from 2-4 people, and the prices vary depending on the day of the week.

The Starling Cabin and Wren Cabin are located on the forested grounds of the Calabogie Peaks Resort, where you’ll have access to all kinds of outdoor activities, including some of the best hiking trails in southern Ontario.

If you’re staying in the Bone Cabin, as part of Cabinscape’s partnership with Haliburton Forest & Wild Life Reserve, guests will have access to 100,000 acres of wilderness, over 400km of hiking & mountain biking trails from April through November.

The Quasi Cabin in the back-country is a bit of a trek once there’s snow on the ground, but you’ll feel truly secluded once you’ve arrived. This cabin is approximately 300 meters away from Cabinscape’s Cove Cabin, on its own private lake, and they say “is the perfect base camp for cyclists, hikers, and paddlers wanting a place to relax and unwind after a day of adventuring in the Haliburton Highlands.”

And finally, there is the Woodrush cabin which is located on a 230 acre property overlooking a sparkling blue, spring-fed lake (the result of a former limestone quarry). This lake is home to 5 lakeside cabins, each on its own big, beautiful and secluded lot – with dreamy desert-like vistas, according to Cabinscape.
