Burnaby Village Museum has officially transformed into its annual Festive Village experience, which is sure to put you and your loved ones in the holiday spirit. And it’s completely free to enjoy!
The quaint holiday town transforms the museum’s 10 acres into a magical, family-friendly attraction, complete with live carolling and music, interactive exhibits, and glimmering lights that illuminate the night.
Classic Christmas decor and nostalgic displays will adorn the open-air museum, allowing visitors to fully immerse themselves in the season while learning more about the area’s local history.
In addition to roaming the museum and creating new holiday memories, guests have the chance to meet Father Christmas or warm up with a meal or snack at Mai’s Cafe.
Situated against the scenic backdrop of Deer Lake Park, this magical winter experience is a must-visit every year.
Festive Village is on now and will run until Jan. 2, 2026, during the following hours:
Nov. 22 to Dec. 15, 2025:
Dec. 16, 2025, to Jan. 2, 2026:
