Get ready to take your taste buds on a delicious adventure, because this new dumplings spot is redefining the flavours of this classic Asian dish. Yup, you heard that right. Brooklyn Dumpling Shop is making its way to Canada, and its first location is now open in Calgary, with the second location right on its heels!
Brooklyn Dumpling Shop will be serving up their unique selection of dumplings, bowls, soups and desserts in Inglewood and 17th Ave. Renowned for their eccentric menu, this chain takes dumplings to a whole new level with unconventional fillings like Mac N Cheese, Korean BBQ and Pepperoni Pizza.
But the uniqueness doesn’t stop at their filling choices. Brooklyn Dumpling Shop offers an innovative ordering system that ensures you’re fed in record time, without the need for human contact. Simply pre-order on your phone, or in store at the user-friendly kiosk. Your food will be prepared fresh and then loaded into your personal warm (or cold!) food locker. Think of it as a giant vending machine with a built-in fridge and food warmer. Scan your barcode, and voila – your food locker opens and you’re ready to eat!
And for those who prefer a cozy night in, you can also conveniently order their dishes on DoorDash & UberEats.
Now, that’s not all. When you’re devouring their dumplings you can also feel good about supporting local! Both restaurant locations are locally owned franchises crafting their dumplings right here in Alberta.
So head on over to their Inglewood location, and make sure to stay tuned for the opening date of their second storefront later this month!
When: Inglewood location grand opening: Saturday, February 24
17th Ave location opening: Late February
Where: 1113 9th Avenue SE & 614 17th Ave SW
Cost: $9 and up
