Float your troubles away on ‘bottomless’ paddle boards at this iconic Alberta resort

Ah yes, Jasper, the lesser known, but equally as beautiful, Albertan Rockies destination. And, what better way to enjoy it than renting  ‘bottomless’ paddle boards at its most iconic resort? The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge just recently introduced this must-try new option, and here’s what to know about it!

New for this summer, the ‘bottomless’ paddle boards are exactly what the name implies. Rather than the classic option, these are built with a see-through plastic, offering practically immediate access to the downright stunning waters of Lac Beauvert, which the Jasper Park Lodge sits on.

Now available to rent, the paddle boards are the same price as the regular options, and will be available throughout the summer season. They’re available to guests and non-guests alike, so whether or not you’re actually staying at the Lodge, we think this is the perfect add-on activity for a weekend getaway.

While we’re at it, we can’t help but mention that the golfing here is second to none, just tied with Fairmont Banff for the absolutely top-tier golfing experiences you can have in Alberta. Will it be a pricy day on the links and the lake? Yes. Will it be worth every penny? Also yes.

But, regardless of whether you’re there to golf, sightsee, or just unwind, make sure to keep this new option in mind!
