Canada’s largest camping and music festival is coming to Alberta for the first time ever.
Boots and Hearts is bringing its iconic country music charm out west in 2026 for Boots and Hearts West. This will be the first time the festival will be leaving Ontario, and there’s no better place than the wild, wild west.
“Boots and Hearts has always been about living the lifestyle of country music & celebrating its community. It is a feeling of connection and belonging,” says Eva Dunford, Boots and Hearts Music Festival co-founder.
“Alberta’s deep country roots and honest, grounded culture feel naturally aligned with the spirit our festival has cultivated over the past 15 years. We can’t wait to share our stories, friendships, and music with a community that lives this spirit wholeheartedly. Our boots are on, and we’re heading west!”
Although not much is known about Alberta’s fest so far, we can base it on Ontario’s original festival, which has been held for 15 years and counting. Both festivals are being held in August 2026.
Headliners for Boots and Hearts West are Russell Dickerson on Friday, who will also be headlining in Ontario, and Shaboozey on Saturday. Both are country music legends, with an insane discography. We could not be more excited!
Tickets will be available for pre-sale starting today, Wednesday, Dec. 3, and public on-sale begins this Friday, Dec. 5, at 10 a.m. mountain standard time.
There will be two types of tickets available, general admission (for single-day or two-day entry) and VIP admission (also for single-day or two-day entry). The key differences between these ticket types are that general admission provides entry, VIP also provides expedited entrance at the festival gates, exclusive viewing decks and suites, private washrooms, curated food options, as well as shaded, exclusive bars.
Get your cowboy boots ready. The first Boots and Hearts festival in Edmonton is one you won’t want to miss.
More information will be released as it comes, so stay tuned for more!
