Spotify Wrapped is here and these are Calgary’s top artists for 2025

It’s officially Spotify Wrapped day, but before you hurry over to your app and see what yours has in store, take a look at all the artists, songs, and albums that were on heavy rotation here in Calgary.

We all know Cowtown loves a good ol’ fashioned country tune, and that certainly stands out in the city’s top three artists. Toronto-born rapper Drake took home the number one spot, but he was closely followed by Taylor Swift and Morgan Wallen.

Among the other top 10 most-streamed artists on Spotify, we share a lot of crossover with the rest of Canada. Rap and hip-hop still dominate, with five artists holding spots in the top 10: Drake, Kendrick Lamar, SZA, Kanye West, and Travis Scott. Country is also well-represented with Morgan Wallen and Zach Bryan frequenting Calgarians’ Spotify feeds. Of course, there’s also pop representation in the form of Taylor Swift, The Weeknd, and Tate McRae, who originally hails from Calgary.
