Some great news for those in the tech sector. Leading global software as a service (SaaS) company Boomi is expanding to Vancouver, bringing hundreds of new jobs with it. So if you’re looking to apply for some tech jobs in the near future, you know where to look.
After several Vancouver-based executive leadership members joined the team, Boomi revealed its plans to recruit hundreds of new team members to support Canadian and global expansion. To start, the company aims to hire 80 foundational team members with the opening of a new Center of Excellence in downtown Vancouver.
According to a recent release, the new center will contribute to a “near-term $20M impact on the local economy,” with an anticipated $100M impact over the next several years. Boomi will tap into the highly skilled local workforce to support its strategic business functions, including sales and business development.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Boomi to Vancouver as a new member of our city’s rapidly expanding tech sector,” says Vancouver Mayor Ken Sim. “Boomi’s decision to bring jobs and investment here further demonstrates Vancouver’s growth as a global hub for technology and innovation.”

As of now, Boomi serves around 20,000 customers across more than 70 countries, including globally renowned brands like AT&T, LinkedIn, Moderna, and Sky, as well as Canadian brands like Deloitte and Canadian Pacific Railway.
The company has earned multiple awards and accolades, including a spot on the list of Deloitte Technology Fast 500™, Nucleus Research’s list of “Hot Companies to Watch in 2023,” and numerous awards as a top employer, including one of Inc. Magazine’s Best Workplaces.
