Bloor West is transforming into a magical holiday village this weekend

If you’re looking for a big dose of holiday cheer, head west this weekend! Bloor West Village is bringing back its annual Light Up The Night event, with charming Christmas town vibes right in the city.

The village will be decked out in brand new holiday lights and decorations, with a dazzling 20-foot tree at Jane Street and a free outdoor concert by the 5 Neat Guys.

While you take in the sights and sounds, you can sip on a free cup of coffee or hot chocolates, and wave your free glowstick around with the music.

There will be singalongs with professional Christmas carolers between 7 PM and 8 PM on Friday, November 25th, as well as giveaways and extended shopping hours along Bloor Street West.

Plus, the first 200 people to visit the Bloor West Village BIA tent will get a cute branded reusable bag.

The fun continues on Saturday, November 26th when Santa’s village pops up at Bloor Street West and Willard Avenue.

Stop by for live entertainment, music, free photos with Santa (and letter to Santa drop off!), gingerbread cookie decorating, holiday gift shopping at the artisan marketplace, and a pancake breakfast.

The pancake breakfast costs $5 per child and $10 per adult, with proceeds going directly to local food banks. Plus, you’re sure to spot Santa’s elves while you stroll around in the village.

Also happening this weekend in the west end is the start of the award-winning Window Wonderland urban art walk, where you can see local storefronts completely transformed by augmented reality art installations.

The west end will definitely be the best end this weekend, and we’ll see you out there!
