It’s a “whirlwind ride through a ruthlessly competitive Silicon Valley at breakneck speeds,” the description says.

This movie is also a story about the control that this Canadian company once had over the entire cellphone market.

“There was a shining moment, when a Canadian company had a larger control of the cellphone market than Apple does now,” said the director Matt Johnson to CBC.

It was an unprecedented moment of glory for this small-town Ontario company — until it wasn’t.

The film will hit theatres in Canada this spring on May 12th, 2023.
