Toronto Michelin-Starred chef to open a classic Italian steakhouse

More high-end restaurants? We’re here for it, Toronto! A classic Italian steakhouse is opening in the city and it’s slated to welcome customers indoors later this fall. Here’s what to know about Bissteccheria Sammarco.
The upcoming restaurant is the brainchild of Michelin-starred Chef Rob Rossi. It will set up shop in Toronto’s historic St Lawrence neighbourhood at 4 Front St East, just steps away from Union Station.
If Chef Rossi’s name sounds familiar, that’s because he also just so happens to be behind Toronto’s beloved dining establishments Giulietta and Michelin-starred Osteria Giulia.

As for Bissteccheria Sammarco offerings, the menu has not been revealed but think prime cuts, seafood and fine wine. Perfect date night if we do say so ourselves.
The restaurant has yet to share what else we can expect but we’re sure we are in for an elegant surprise.
No official date has been set but we can expect to hear more about this luxurious establishment closer to fall 2024.
We will be sure to keep you updated.
