Get ready for another amazing patio dining experience, Metro Vancouver. Developed by a small team at Earls, Birdies Eats & Drinks is a California-inspired restaurant that will soon serve lunch, dinner, weekend brunch, and happy hour specials. Let’s dive right in!

The new restaurant concept will take over the former Earls Bridge Park location in Burnaby this July, serving a mix of flavour-driven bites and drinks made with fresh, high-quality ingredients – from Oh So Sticky Korean Ribs to the Poached Pear Dutch Baby Pancake and Aloha Bowl.

“We are thrilled to be bringing an all-new restaurant concept to Greater Vancouver this summer,” said Marshall Fuller, Director of Operations. “We see an opportunity in the market for a casual, fun concept with high-quality, addictive food and drinks at an inviting price point.”

The space

Visitors can choose to dine in a spacious lounge or casual dining room, a 20-seat terrazzo countertop bar, or on a 1,785-square-foot patio that seats 75 people. And since it’s prime patio season, you know where we’ll be sitting!

As well, the dining concept will feature a ‘Provisions’ area where guests can purchase ready-to-eat meals, fresh ingredients, and sauces to take home.

While developed in collaboration with Earls, the day-to-day operations of Birdies will be run by a brand new team who are dedicated to creating a more laid-back, fun feel when it comes to dining – hence its tribute to the fair weather and food culture of California.

And for those looking for a late-night pick-me-up, you can head over for a nightcap and bite to eat every day of the week. So if the shareable margs, signature cocktails, or spirit-free bevies are calling your name, we say answer!
