According to Big Creek Tubing, “The Canadian Amazon (Big Creek) offers three choices for the 2024 season”.

Guests have the choice of kayaking, tandem kayaking or tubing.

All trips come with PFDs, paddles, safety kits, a shuttle ride and parking.

If you’re wondering if this is the adventure for you, Big Creek says the route skill level is beginner to experienced because of the slow current on the river which requires paddling effort.

Most people average four to five hours when tubing this route. If in a kayak most people average about two and a half – three hours.

Trips are offered on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Holiday Mondays.

Thursday and Friday start times are 10:30 am, 11 am, 11:30 am and 12 pm.

Weekend and holiday Monday start times are 10 am, 10:30 am, 11 am, 11:30 am and 12 pm.

Kayaks cost $60, tandem kayaks cost $100 (for two people) and tubes cost $40.

The shuttle will bring you right back to the parking lot after your adventure, easy peezy!
