A HUGE Book sale is coming to Calgary & you can get good reads for FREE

Are you a bookworm looking to fill your home library? Mark your calendars, because a massive literary treasure hunt is coming your way!

A 10-day event set to kick off on May 10th, 2024, the Big Book Sale will take the Calgary Curling Club and you will not want to miss it.

From horror to romance, over 175,000 gently used novels will be available for a fraction of the price – though we’d recommend you plan ahead!

Whether you’re looking to snag a best seller or a classic children’s story, each day of the sale will be different, with books getting more affordable towards the end of the event.

Want to check it out, but not sure what to expect?

On Friday, May 10th and 11th between 9 am and 8 pm, guests will have to make an appointment and pay a $5 event fee (added at purchase), as they’ll have first dibs on anything available.

Between the 12th and 16th, readers will no longer need to make an appointment and will only have to pay a $3 event fee; Then on the 17th and 18th celebrate BOGO days, followed by their Fill-A-Box for $20 Day.

To wrap it up, everything that is left will be FREE on the 20th, though donations are appreciated – so check it out!
