The Great White North is known for its stunning landscapes, mountainous regions, and abundant greenery. The best way to experience the beauty of it all is through an exciting train ride. And it looks like Canada is home to two of the best train trips in the world.
According to the Readers’ Choice Awards 2022, two Canadian train tips made the list of 20 experiences across the world. The results were chosen by readers who ranked the world’s best rail journeys. And we’re not surprised by those chosen.
There are a lot of contenders out there in the world but we’re glad Canada didn’t get snubbed. Canada’s Rocky Mountaineer and The Canadian made the cut thanks to their long trails that guide you through gorgeous landscapes.

In 15th place came the Rocky Mountainer. Its journey truly captures the essence and scenery between Vancouver, British Columbia, and Banff, as well as Jasper, Alberta. During this adventure, you can sample local Canadian beer, wine, and snacks on this comfortable yet stunning journey.
According to the site, Rocky Mountaineer has transported over two million guests since its beginnings – making it the largest privately-owned premium tourist train in the world. Simply amazing!
