Dunkin’
Dunkin’ put Ben Affleck to work in a funny ad where the actor tries to show off his pop-star chops to his famous wife, Jennifer Lopez. Affleck forms a group called “The DunKings,” featuring himself, former NFL star Tom Brady and of course, his best friend Matt Damon. Viewers can also expect cameos from Jack Harlow and even Fat Joe!
Verizon
Verizon‘s Super Bowl ad with Beyonce joked about “breaking the internet” and they may have done just that. The commercial showed the singer trying to “break the internet,” eventually stating at the end to “drop the new music.” Beyonce went on to post to social media that she had released two new songs and an album called “Act II,” which is set to be released on March 29th, 2024.
Mountain Dew
Mountain Dew’s commercial promoting its Baja Blast flavour poked fun at Aubrey Plaza, who’s known for playing characters with very little emotion. The spot showed Plaza having a “blast” with Baja Blast in different scenarios – hilarious!
Booking.com
Featuring actress/comedian Tina Fay, Booking.com‘s Super Bowl ad showed Fay and her “body doubles,” who help her experience all the accommodations of the travel booking website. Look closely and see which “body doubles” you can pick out.
Uber Eats
Uber Eats went all out with a star-studded lineup for their Super Bowl commercial. The ad shows Jennifer Aniston with an Uber Eats delivery person, where she says to remember Uber Eats delivers almost anything, all you have to do is forget something else. Aniston hilariously forgets her “Friends” co-star David Schwimmer. The commercial shows other stars such as The Beckhams, Jelly Roll and Usher forgetting things too.
CeraVe
CeraVe saw an opportunity and took it, starring Michael Cera in their Super Bowl ad. The laugh-out-loud commercial jokes that the actor developed the brand, thus the name CeraVe. Of course, it’s just a joke but it’s pretty clever!
Popeyes
Popeyes announced they will now be serving chicken wings in the form of a funny Super Bowl ad starring actor Ken Jeong. Jeong is unfrozen after many decades, brought back to finally welcome chicken wings to the franchise.
Pringles
Chris Pratt makes a cameo in Pringles‘ Super Bowl commercial, where the actor becomes viral and even books acting gigs after being told he looks like “the Pringles guy.”
BMW
BMW introduced the BMW i5 M60 with a hilarious Super Bowl commercial where everyone who interacts with actor Christopher Walken tries to do his famous accent.
State Farm
This Super Bowl ad by State Farm also played up on a famous actor’s accent – Arnold Schwarzenegger. The actor is cast to play Agent State Farm in Agent State Farm the movie even though he can’t quite nail the slogan. This commercial also has an appearance from legendary actor Danny DeVito.
Michelob ULTRA
Michelob ULTRA‘s Super Bowl ad featured one of the world’s most well-known athletes, soccer star Lionel Messi. Not only that, the commercial also showed actor Jason Sudeikis and an appearance from Dan “The Man” Marino.
According to YouTube Canada, the most watched commercial in the country on YouTube was Booking.com’s ad featuring Tina Fey.
