Steak frites, anyone? One of my favourite dishes of all time is a medium rare steak with a side of perfectly done fries. What can I say, I’m a simple girl. If you’re anything like me then you’ll want to check out these restaurants in Toronto serving up the best steak frites.

Le Select Bistro 

If you know, you know.

Le Select serves classic French cuisine and easily has some of the best steak frites in Toronto. Striploin, butter, fries. Say no more.

Where: Le Select Bistro, 432 Wellington St W

J’s Steak Frites

This place has one thing on the menu, can you guess it?

Yep for a fixed price you get delicious steak frites and unlimited french fries – a dream.

Where: J’s Steak Frites, 1198 Queen St W

Jules Bistro 

Jules has a location in the east end of the city and the west.

The steak frites here are under $30 which is a pretty great deal. Enjoy!

Côte de Boeuf

One of my favourite restaurants ever.

AAA dry aged striploin, french fries, peppercorn sauce, need I say more?

Astoria in the Great Hall

Bavette flank steak with garlic butter. spinach and no shortage of fries. One of the best steak frites I’ve had in a while!

Le Swan 

This adorable French diner’s steak frites will never disappoint.

If you go back, try the steak tartare as well – yum.

Le Baratin 

Classic, simple French food and delicious steak frites cooked to perfection.

The shallot sauce is what takes these steak frites to the next level, a must-try.

Le Paradis

Another one of my favourite restaurants in Toronto – Le Paradis!

While everything here is amazing I always find myself going back to the steak frites with a side of veg.
