In a new report, the reputable publication listed the best startup employers in Canada for 2024 and your perfect fit might be an application away.

According to Forbes, to qualify, the business was required to have at least 10 employees, must have been founded between 2014 and 2021 and must not be publicly traded.

Once these were determined, each startup was evaluated based on three main criteria: employer reputation, employee satisfaction and growth.

Using company reviews, blogs and social media posts about each company, website traffic, job listings, and employee offerings they were then able to rank the best in Canada.

“It hasn’t been easy to be a startup lately. Global funding for startup companies hit a five-year low at the end of 2023, according to an analysis by Crunchbase. And the Canadian startup ecosystem was no exception,” they explained.

“There are, however, some Canadian startups that show no signs of slowing down.”
