This picture-perfect winery is known for its gorgeous vineyards, the historic Riverbend Inn & Vineyard on-site, unique snacks like blowtorch-smoked cheese, and a very special lounge. Peller Estates is home to Niagara’s only Icewine lounge where you’ll be given a parka to wear while you sample icewine in the -10 C frozen lounge.

THIRTY BENCH WINEMAKERS

This is one of Niagara’s first boutique wineries and the historic charm has been preserved throughout the years. The relaxed, rustic atmosphere and rolling vineyards make you feel as if you’re in a simpler time. Best wine, paired with best views — what more could you ask for?

Alvento has been inviting guests to their boutique country winery for two decades now.  The charm comes partly from the authentic 19th-century barn, partly from the adorable B&B on the estate, and most importantly, the delicious locally-produced wines.

BURNING KILN WINERY

 A gem among Norfolk County, this repurposed tobacco pack building couldn’t be in a better location. Soak your insides with award-winning appassimento wine while you soak in views of Lake Erie. We’ll be taking a happy, buzzed beach nap after this tasting.

COFFIN RIDGE BOUTIQUE WINERY

Sit yourself down on that picturesque patio at sunset with a sampling flight, you won’t regret it. Try their specialty hybrids like L’Acadie Blanc and Marquette. If you don’t really know what those mean, just know they’re worth the visit. Reservations are required in advance here, so be sure to do that before you go.

HONSBERGER ESTATE WINERY

This gorgeous estate is on one of Ontario’s oldest family-run farms. They’ve been producing grapes for over 200 years. Stop by for the gorgeous, tree-covered outdoor patio and visit the many friendly farm animals on-site. Your dog is welcome to tag along too, as long as they’re leashed. You can also dine in the candle-lit barn restaurant, which serves farm-style eats, local wine, craft beer, and unique cocktails.

NORTH 42 DEGREES

North 42 Degrees Estate Winery has it all — breathtaking scenery, delicious food, top-notch wine, and warm hospitality. Once you’ve had your wine pairing and gourmet meal, you can hike the grounds and roam among the vineyards, wildflowers, and lavender plants.

“Amid Carolinian forest, our sun quenched naturally rain fed vineyard is gently caressed by Lake Erie breezes, nourished by deep, rich soils and nurtured to perfection,” the description says.

This Niagara-region winery spans over 14 acres and produces award-winning wine. The elegant setting is perfect for a tasting, and you can stop by as a walk-in or by reservation. Then you can stay for a round of golf at the on-site course, or go before the tasting if you’re worried about being under par. Depends how competitive your friend group is.

Relax with a gourmet picnic lunch and a walk-in wine tasting on this gorgeous estate in Prince Edward County. We recommend starting the picnic with one of their stellar pinot noirs, chardonnays or sparkling wines. This is peak wine country vibes right here!
