Capitol Hill’s best spot for Oaxacan eats is always a first choice in our books. Enjoy a menu full of items like tacos, mole, carne asada and much more. You can of course also grab one of their many amazing cocktails, try some mezcal and take in the city views from their stunning rooftop patio.

This spot is probably off your radar unless you live in South Seattle. But it’s absolutely worth visiting because it’s the restaurant sister of a nearby butcher shop. That means you can get great meat and enjoy it in delicious food items like tacos.

Raiz serves up elevated Mexican cuisine crafted with PNW ingredients. You’ll find new spins on your favorite dishes and it’s a great choice if you haven’t treated yourself in a while.

Hours: Sunday & Tuesday 11 am-2:30 pm, Wednesday-Saturday 11 am-2:30 pm & 5 pm-7:30 pm
You can’t go wrong with Tacos Chukis simple and delicious taco menu that allows you to grab as many or as few tacos as you like. Or you can opt for other items like mulitas, baby burritos, tortas, and more. Don’t forget to grab one of their delicious horchatas as well.

The name says it all, Frelard Tamales is known for tamales! They have options for both meat lovers and vegans alike and in some exciting new’s they’ll also be expanding up to Bellingham.

Tacos, tacos galore! This multi-location food truck resto is another spot that always comes in handy when you just want simple tacos or a burrito. But it doesn’t stop there, they actually have a massive menu with items like gorditas, tostadas, and much more.

If you’re really into meat then you need to try Asadero. This spot specializes in Mexican ‘Norte’ cuisine which means you get to enjoy menu items with the restaurant’s signature steak and carne asada. You can choose from items like tacos, tortas, and of course asados.

Carmelo’s is known for its delicious Mexico City-style eats and has quickly become a favorite spot among Seattleites. You’ll find tacos, burritos, churros, and more. Plus they have locations in both Capitol Hill and the CD.
