According to the publication, this list in its entirety highlights 37,000 hotels and more than 400 destinations all in an effort to help travellers find an accommodation that suits their needs.
“As the travel landscape evolves, there is a shift toward meeting the needs of modern travellers. The hotel industry is striving to offer culturally authentic experiences and high levels of customer service, recognizing that today’s explorers seek connections with their destinations,” said Zach Watson, senior travel editor at U.S. News.
“The 2024 Best Hotels rankings offer travellers dependable options to stay for every type of trip, balancing location, amenities and quality service to ensure an enjoyable experience.”
From ratings to guest reviews, U.S. News and World were able to use public data to determine the country’s most beloved hotels in Canada and what they found may surprise you.
“U.S. News & World Report ranks the best hotels in Canada based on an analysis of industry awards, hotel star ratings and user ratings,” they explained.
“Hotels that scored in the top 25% of the Best Hotels in Canada earned a Gold badge. Hotels that appear after ranked hotels are sorted by hotel class and then by user rating, as provided by Tripadvisor”
So who made the honour roll?
This year, the. Rosewood Hotel Georgia in Vancouver came out on top, followed by the Fairmont Pacific Rim, the Hazelton Hotel in Toronto and the Four Seasons in Whistler.
