Surrounded by trees, wildlife and surrounding trail systems, this dreamy spot is widely considered to be the ‘world’s longest freshwater boardwalk’ and should be on every Prairie folk’s provincial bucket list.

While it’s an all-season beauty, visitors are encouraged to check it out in the warmer months – more specifically in the early morning or evening.

During this time, beavers can be seen hard at work, building, nibbling and lounging about in the water and in their homes.

“Numbers of beavers vary from year to year, but at times there are upwards of a dozen in the area.,” they write on their website.

“The boardwalk meanders through marshland and fens, bringing visitors close to the active beaver dam and lodge.”

Interested in checking it out? Pack light, don’t forget a snack and come ready to move!

It’s a long one, but there’s truly no place quite like it.

Happy walking!
