The festival is made up of five events taking place between July 5th and 28th including Salsa in the Beach, StreetFest, OLG Weekend Series, TD Weekend Series, and Sounds of Leslieville and Riverside.

The 2024 Beaches Jazz Festival lineup includes performances from over 1,000 musicians from local and international scenes.

Every year, the festival brings in internationally acclaimed jazz performers while also showcasing local talent, including “new generation” jazz musicians.

Around 1000 artists per annum are expected, including 50 bands for StreetFest event along Queen Street East.

The events are all on the city’s east end – Jimmie Simpson Park, Woodbine Park, and, of course, Queen St. East.

According to Beaches Jazz Fest, “the mid-summer event that attracts thousands of fans and makes a major contribution to promoting Canadian jazz excellence locally and on the world stage.”

Since it’s a month long and free to attend, there’s no excuse not to come out on out for at least one of Jazz Fest’s events to dance the night away, or just stroll around and enjoy the music.

Don’t forget to come hungry, too! The events will have vendors and food trucks for all to indulge in.
