Though we’re not really supposed to travel at the moment, we can’t help but get more and more excited as we near this summer’s grand opening of Malahat Skywalk, a one-of-a-kind attraction that will guide guests through the treetops high above Victoria’s Saanich Inlet.

A collaboration between the Malahat Nation and A.Spire by Nature, the folks behind the Sea to Sky Gondola in Squamish, this sky-high adventure park will feature a 20 ft slide, spiral tower, and year-round access.

Located along the Malahat Highway, the Skywalk itself will be approximately 600 metres long – with the tower reaching 32 metres high. Surprisingly, this is actually a little shorter than the original blueprint, but we can only imagine that it will still offer incredible views of the surrounding area!

Once you take those in, you’ll be able to make your way back down to the entrance using that slide we mentioned earlier or the stairs, but we both know there’s a right answer here.

If everything continues to go as planned, guests will be able to check it out as soon as July, so keep your fingers crossed, folks! Things are looking pretty good, so it’ll just be a matter of time.
