Acclaimed spot for Thai cuisine in Metro Vancouver named the 'Best Restaurant in Canada'

The prestigious 2024 World Culinary Awards took place on Wednesday, October 2nd, crowning Baan Lao as the best in the country. Now in its 5th year, the World Culinary Awards recognize outstanding culinary destinations, hotel restaurants, training institutions, and landmark establishments across the globe.
In Canada, previous holders of the ‘best restaurant’ title include Vancouver’s St. Lawrence, Toque in Montreal, and Alo in Toronto.
According to the World Culinary Awards, Baan Lao also joins the ranks of international winners of the past like The French Laundry and Atelier Crenn.
