Arnold Schwarzenegger spotted filming in Ontario’s ‘most beautiful village’

It looks like filming for Netflix’s Fubar may be underway after Hollywood movie star Arnold Schwarzenegger was seen in this small Ontario town.

Celebrity spotting is nothing new to us here in Toronto but it’s always exciting when we happen to run into them. Though Schwarzenegger loves Toronto, this time around, The Terminator star was seen filming in Elora, Ontario – about an hour and a half away from the city.

According to a notice by the Township of Centre Wellington, “an upcoming production” will be filming at 1 MacDonald Square from April 26th to May 2nd.

A passerby managed to spot the star in town and shared the picture with Centre Wellington’s local radio station The Grand 101.1FM.

Though the notice doesn’t explicitly say what is being filmed, per IMBD, filming dates for the show began on Apr 29th, 2024 and will continue until August 12th, 2024.

In an Instagram post in March, Schwarzenegger insisted that he was ready to film season two of FUBAR after he had a pacemaker implanted.

“I’ve gotten so many kind messages from all over the world, but a lot of people have asked if my pacemaker will cause any problems with FUBAR Season 2,” shared the star.

“Absolutely not. I will be ready to film in April, and you can only see it if you’re really looking for it.”

Filming for the show took place in Toronto, Mississauga and Oakville for season 1 so we’re not surprised they’re exploring more of Ontario to find amazing filming spots.

The Fubar team loved Toronto the last time they were here and we love that they’re back in the region!
