Big things are happening at the Aritzia Yorkdale location. The store is undergoing a major expansion and will open its doors this November.
Aritzia is expanding “twice the size” of its current location and will have a brand new look and feel with curated artwork, custom furniture, and “bespoke details for an elevated shopping experience,” said the retailer to Curiocity.
Plus, the Yorkdale store will soon be home to Aritzia’s fifth A-OK Cafe location, the retailer’s stylish signature in-house coffee shop.

Customers can grab hot and cold drinks including micro-ground teas, specialty iced beverages and espresso made with their signature A-OK roast, with a fresh pastry on the side.
The Yorkdale location will also offer A-OK’s newly expanded menu which offers alcohol including wine, beer, and cocktails, as well as small plates featuring paté, burrata, and olives.
Coffee and cocktails with a side of shopping? Sounds like an ideal combination to us!
As for the shop’s interior, don’t expect it to look the same as its other locations. According to Aritzia, each space is individually curated and unique.
“Our architects and designers consider each boutique individually, creating a bespoke mix of local influences, natural materials, custom furniture, and art. Think well-lit fitting rooms, extra-large mirrors, and a cozy lounge area — make yourself at home.”
Aritzia is one of several stores that are undergoing expansions at Yorkdale Shopping Centre. Others include Cartier, BVLGARI, Bath & Body Works, OVO, and Browns.
There are also a number of exciting new stores opening at the shopping centre throughout the fall season, including Toronto’s second Alo location, Diptyque, Acne Studios, Ganni, Offline, Allbirds, and more.
As for when the newly-expanded Aritzia opens its doors, the grand reveal is just around the corner!
