It’s time for a casual weekend stroll through downtown Vancouver. The sun may or may not be shining, but that doesn’t matter! It’s summer, the weather is mild, and you have a coffee in hand. Life is good.
And while we’ve got you in the mood for coffee, you should know that % Arabica has a pop-up in town for a month, and it’s definitely worth checking out.
It all started with a mission to bring the world an amazing cup of coffee, every day. The brand prides itself on high-quality beans and highly technical brewing practices.
Kenneth Shoji, brand founder and creative director, cups all the green beans himself before deciding which ones get sent out to each of % Arabica’s 200 stores worldwide. They also use the top-of-the-line Slayer Espresso Machines for all their drinks – which can retail for over $40,000 CAD!
If you think that’s crazy, then you should know that every espresso shot is pulled for exactly 25 seconds. If it’s a second under or over, they won’t serve it to customers because it wouldn’t taste right according to their standards. Now that’s a commitment to quality!
Intrigued? Well, that’s great because you can try a cup of this famous coffee for yourself from Friday, August 23rd, until Monday, September 16th.
Stop by and try their new White Mocha, or just grab your favourite coffee and taste the difference top-quality beans and brewing can make – you might just become a brand loyalist!
Follow along on % Arabica’s Instagram to stay up to date with new products and announcements. Maybe they’ll bring a new location to YOUR city!
When: Friday, August 23rd, until Fall 2024
Where: 290 Thurlow St, Vancouver, BC V6C 2G8
