What if we told you that in a few short weeks, you could be attending Vancouver’s first major music festival in at least a year? Well, prepare yourselves, because that’s exactly what we’re going to do. Westward Music Fest is getting ready to take over the city, and we’ve got the info you need!

Things kick off on September 8th, with concerts running throughout the week. Rather than have a central location, the concerts will take place at venues around the city, like The Vogue, Imperial and The Biltmore. We prefer it this way, honestly, since it keeps gathering numbers lower and gives us an excuse to head back to our favourite nightlife spots!

Just like with the venues, the music itself doesn’t settle for just one genre. The lineup is a sort of who’s who of up-and-coming Canadian and international talent, plus a couple of landed names for good measure. Want to scream along to BBNO$’s classic hit “Lalala”? You can do it. Ready to drag a couple friends out to a show that none of you have heard of before? Well, we recommend that too!

You can buy tickets either for single shows or in ‘packs’ based on the experience you’re after. Think things like the ‘Electronica Variety Pack’, the ‘Rap Pack’ and the ‘Party Pack’. Either way, make sure to browse the lineup for yourself!
