Another BT21 & LINE Friends pop-up is coming to Toronto after the first sold out in 2 days

Calling all BTS fans! Another pop-up shop selling BT21 and LINE Friends merch is coming to Toronto’s Yorkdale Shopping Centre this month. The brand’s last pop-up in Toronto in 2018 ended up being so popular that the store sold out in just two days. Now, it’s coming back to give you another chance to stock up on your favourite characters.

The pop-up will run from late August to the end of December at the former Innisfree location inside the mall. BT21 characters Koya, RJ, Shooky, Mang, Chimmy, Tata, Cooky, and Van will be displayed throughout the store, as well as BROWN & FRIENDS and others.

The shop will be operated by the popular Korean and Japanese products shop, Sukoshi Mart. Given the popularity of the last pop-up, fans of these adorable characters should prepare to shop early before the most coveted items sell out.

The wildly popular South Korean band BTS teamed up with the creators of LINE Friends back in 2017 to come up with the characters, according to Metro UK. Each of them has qualities and characteristics that are similar to the members of BTS. According to Jimin, a lead member of BTS, the group decided to make Chimmy a yellow puppy because it’s the animal that best represents BTS itself.

This pop-up might have even bigger lineups than the Disney store at Yorkdale last week, as people waited for over two hours to score liquidation deals ahead of the store’s closing.

BT21 & LINE Friends Pop-up

Where: Yorkdale Shopping Centre, 3401 Dufferin St
