Looking for something a little different to do? We may have found the perfect option. The Alberta International Airshow takes off this weekend from the Villeneuve Airport, and is sure to be a fun experience for young and old alike. After all, who doesn’t love crazy acrobatic plane maneuvers?
Formerly known as the Edmonton Airshow, the weekend will feature a variety of both military and civilian displays. So, whether you want to see a helicopter that costs as much as a mansion, or a wild display of skill, you’re going to see both while you’re there.
Live Nation Canada will soon require proof of vaccination before attending one of their concerts

In addition to the shows, there will be static displays of some iconic planes, in case you want to get up close and personal. Don’t worry about bringing a picnic, either- a dozen food trucks will be setting up shop for the weekend. Just don’t get any mustard on a jet!
