An indoor/outdoor block party kicks off in downtown Edmonton this weekend

Still scrambling for weekend plans? Don’t worry- the Grindstone Theatre has got you covered. Their ‘Mural Massive’ festival kicks off today, and we’ve got all the info you need to go have some fun down there. Here’s what you can expect!

Mural Massive is a 3-day long block party being hosted at the beloved venue. Tonight is kind of like a preview taste, just in case you wanted a peek at the setting before things really get going. But personally, we’d wait and visit either tomorrow or Sunday.

Why? Well, because there’s so much to look forward to! Over 8 hours (whoa), you can immerse yourself in live mural painting, laugh at comedy shows, grab a couple of drinks with your pals, and dance to live music performances and DJ sets. Basically, it’s everything you can ask for to cap off the summer.

And if that still wasn’t enough, the night owls out there will be happy to know that there will be afterparties both Saturday and Sunday night. Our advice if that piques your fancy? Maybe don’t head down to the Grindstone too early in the afternoon, so you can keep your strength up for the evening!
