An enchanting sunflower trail opens this week near Toronto & you can get tickets now

There are so many ways to enjoy summer in Ontario — strawberry picking, lazy days at the cottage, and rosé tastings on a winery, to name a few. But, there’s nothing quite as classic as a trip to one of the many sunflower fields that the province has to offer, and one in particular is extra special. Ontario’s only sunflower-shaped trail opens for the season this Thursday, July 29!

Located about an hour and a half from Toronto in Beaverton, Ontario, The Sunflower Farm is a sprawling 20-acre field with thousands of blooms for you to get lost in. The sunflower-shaped trail is new to the farm this year and it’s the only one of its kind in the whole province.

Wander among towering fields of gold petals and take a photo by the tractor while you’re at it. Because if there aren’t pics, did it really happen?

You can book your visit right now on the farm’s website, and your reservation is good for a full hour. While tickets are non-refundable, you will get your money back if the farm decided to close for the day due to bad weather. Otherwise, the field will be open rain or shine!

You can hit up The Sunflower Farm as early as 8 a.m. and as late as 7:30 p.m. on weekends, just in time for golden hour! On weekdays, you can reserve a spot between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Be sure to check out the farm’s rules before your visit so you know what to expect and get ready to check this iconic summer activity off your bucket list!
