Nothing makes a weekend getaway easier (or more enjoyable) than a trip on a train. You don’t have to worry about gas or parking, and can simply sit back, relax, and enjoy the view. Even better? Amtrak is having a flash sale right now, and travellers from Vancouver can snag discounted tickets to U.S. cities this week only.
According to Amtrak, you can “embrace the savings with Sale Fares that are at least 25% off, or opt for more flexibility with Value or Flex Fares in case your itinerary changes.” Either way, you’re guaranteed space to stretch out in comfortable, reclining seats, “with plenty of legroom — and no middle seats.”
The cherry on top? “Amtrak produces up to 83% fewer carbon emissions than flying or driving,” which means slower, more mindful travel is well within your reach on your next trip.
