This little escape is one of the oldest, most charming towns in the province, according to Visit Amherstburg and it’s full of history.

It’s a picturesque community with century-old buildings and a stunning waterfront. Not only is it a perfect fall time trip but a scenic one at that.

Along with that, according to Visit Windsor-Essex, it’s known for its award-winning gardens, local shopping, exciting festivals, and as a gateway to local wineries.

From museum tours to ghost stories, and even paranormal investigations, it’s a unique experience, especially in the fall.

And just for the fun of it, since you’re already in the area, make your way to Windsor – just half an hour away.

Check out the Windsor Sculpture Park, an incredible “museum without walls” and it’s completely free to visit.

The park boasts over 31 large-scale sculptures by world-renowned artists, offering something enchanting for every visitor.
