Amazon Canada is hiring for over 500 positions in Vancouver right now

On the job hunt? Amazon Canada is expanding its rapidly growing Vancouver office with 500+ new full-time positions (and over 1,000 in Seattle). From Software Engineers to Business Operations roles, to everything in between, there are a ton of open roles to consider.

We know our city is pretty drop-dead gorgeous, but it’s always nice to hear it from companies looking to expand. It’s even nicer to hear that so many new jobs are now available for Vancouverites.

“Surrounded by water, mountains, and cherry blossoms, we are proud to push the envelope on business models and technology – shaping the future and setting the pace for innovation. The teams in our rapidly growing Vancouver office are the driving force behind strategic, company-wide goals.”

Amazon has come a long way since its humble beginnings as a bookseller. Now, the global platform supports hundreds of thousands of small businesses, dominating the online retail space. Why not help their Vancouver teams develop products and services you’re passionate about?

In an open letter in October of 2021, CEO Andy Jassy expresses Amazon’s support of more flexible options when it comes to returning to the office, including fully-remote and hybrid options.

For their corporate roles, they’re leaving it up to the directors of individual teams to determine how many days in office will be required.

Positions currently open in Vancouver include over 500 roles under “Software Development”, over 70 jobs under “Project/program/product management- technical”, as well, 25 roles under “Business Intelligence.” There are also 35 jobs in Operations, and 19 in HR.

Happy job hunting, Vancouver!
