Looking to amp up your holiday spirit? Buckle up, because Rural Route Tour Company and Guess Where Trips have teamed up for a Christmas adventure that’s sure to make your season merry and bright! Here’s what to know about the All Things Merry and Bright tour.

Starting November 16th, this dynamic duo is bringing you the All Things Merry and Bright tour—a delightful, full-day journey packed with festive surprises.

Cozy up in the decked-out Rural Route minibus, filled with twinkling lights and plush throws ready to keep you snug. The trip features four charming stops within the GTA, whisking you away to picture-perfect hamlets, quirky hidden gems, and lively small towns.

“The tour is a full day – about 8-9 hours depending on the pickup location guests choose. It’s fully guided so guests will enjoy fun commentary about the places we’re visiting as we go,” shares organizers with Curiocity.

“The stops are the same for each tour, but they are a surprise. Guests will receive a Guess Where Trip package (one per booking) that contains numbered envelopes, one for each stop.”

Where are the pickup locations?

Rural Route Tour Company offers two pickup locations for this experience:
  • Downtown Toronto, 44 York Street (west side of the Fairmont Royal York Hotel)
  • Trafalgar/401 Commuter Lot, Halton Hills, ON L0P 1E0

When can I go?

The guided tours take place from Wednesday to Sunday through December 22nd and come complete with VIP experiences and exclusive commentary about local lore and landmarks.

You’ll feel like a holiday insider as you uncover the secrets of these quaint rural spots, all while indulging in the signature mystery-filled fun that the Guess Where Trips package offers.

“Guests are sure to feel a warm sense of nostalgia with holiday music and decor on the Rural Route minibus; along with the sights, tastes, and cozy Christmas vibes of the festively decorated villages and small businesses we visit,” shares organizers.

“We have special relationships with our tour partners that allow our guests to go-behind-the-scenes at select stops, meet makers, connect with local experts and get to know the places we stop at throughout the day.”
