A street in Edmonton is kicking off the winter season with a massive festival

124th Street is back with its annual festival, kicking off this month!
The All Is Bright festival is back for 2025, to begin the season with a night of winter celebration, featuring live music, winter activities, food, and all that community magic. Not only that, but for a whole week, the street is going to be lit up with beautiful illuminated art pieces.
This year, the festival will be one to remember.
What to expect
On Nov. 15, the festival kicks off on 124th Street with Don Berner Big Bang at 4 p.m.
After the opening act and during, you can explore the free family-friendly event some more. There are winter activities, roaming acts, kids’ crafts, and much more interactive parts.
The light-up ceremony commences at 5:30 p.m., where the entire street will light up for the winter season. To end off the big ceremony, The Get Downs will play at 6 p.m., and you can roam around the festival until it closes at 8 p.m.
Its celebration continues from the 15th until the 22nd, where you can explore illuminated art installations lighting up 124th Street and the surrounding area’s windows every night from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. All the window display locations are on its website, so don’t miss any of them this week!
While you’re in the area, you might want to consider the many businesses and restaurants on 124th Street. Whether it’s shopping at a local thrift store or retailer, or grabbing a bite to eat from one of the many great food spots on the street, 124th is full of magic, especially this season.
Get your coat on and prepare to watch 124th Street illuminate!
