Are you a fan of vigilante justice? In September 2014, 542 people from Nexen Energy dressed up as Batman and sealed the deal with Guinness World Records. Impressive!
Where: Calgary
Could you wear a pair of skates for 261 hours? In 2022 the Hockey Marathon for the Kids broke the record for the longest marathon playing ice hockey in Chestermere, Alberta. We can’t even imagine how their feet must have felt after 12 days on the ice.

In 2015, the Whitecourt Trailblazers of Alberta held the longest parade of snowmobiles with 1,047 vehicles. Would you have wanted to be in attendance?

The most hygienic on our list! As a way to raise awareness for a charity that provides soap to at-risk communities, Canada World Records and the Lambda Epsilon Alumni Association (LEAA) broke the record for “Most people washing their faces online simultaneously.”
124 people participated.
Where: Edmonton
On March 12th, 2016, 329 people simultaneously shaved their heads to raise awareness about workplace carcinogens.
The Canadian Cancer Society and the Calgary Fire Department not only got the word out, they raised $140,000 for cancer research and broke a world record.
