Alberta Milk has teamed up with Food Banks Alberta to support our community & here’s what to know

Ready to do some good in our province? We sure are. Alberta Milk’s partnership with Food Banks Alberta aims to help thousands of people in the community facing food insecurity, and YOU can help this initiative go further with its latest fundraising campaign.

More Than Milk

For Alberta Milk, community involvement is nothing new. You might be asking yourself, what’s the big deal about dairy?

Dairy products are actually one of the top requested items at food banks. Each month, Food Banks Alberta provides countless meals to those in need through shelters, soup kitchens, and school lunch programs. Donations thus far have helped make big strides, but it’s not enough.

The bad news is that food bank visits have gone up, with a 73% increase between 2019 and 2022 alone. Not to mention that nearly 45% of all food bank users in Alberta are families with children.

These numbers may sound disheartening, but you can help!

What You Can Do

It’s all about amplifying the impact of your donations. From July 12th to August 1st, Alberta Milk will match all community donations to a maximum of $50,000 – that’s a lot of food!

Giving back feels good, and you can feel extra good this month supporting Food Banks Alberta.

Donate today, and Alberta Milk will make your good deed go further.

SO MUCH MORE THAN MILK
