A fur-tastastic adventure! Over 95 playful alpacas make this Alberta farm a must-visit

If you love animals, fresh air and memorable experiences, there is no shortage of fun things to do in Wild Rose Country, but few destinations are quite as charming as Kirk’s Alpaca Farm.

Located just over an hour from Calgary, you’ll find an all-ages playground with trampolines, a basketball court, plasma cars, swings and slides – but that’s hardly the best part.

Kirk’s also has 99 alpacas that you can feed, pet, wander with and learn all about with your friends, family or special someone.

As if that wasn’t delightful enough, they also encourage you to bring a lunch and take in the beautiful views, plus they have a little market where you can shop locally made stuffed animals, clothing, jewellery and knickknacks.
